Overbeek Bomen has grown in recent years. Why not come and work in our new office as part of a team of friendly, motivated colleagues? We offer you a great opportunity and prospects for growth. During the summer, you’ll have Friday afternoons off. Working hours to be agreed.
You’ll be joining a team that strives to improve together every day. Contributing ideas and flexibility are in our DNA.
Whilst for many years we have mainly supplied traders and growers, we are now increasingly supplying projects for public authorities and the construction industry. Examples include comprehensive landscaping projects where quality, availability and timing all come together.
This development calls for strengthening our front-line team: someone who understands customers, thinks proactively and helps bring projects to fruition.

As a sales representative at Overbeek Bomen, you will be responsible for actively developing new business. You will engage with the market yourself, establish new contacts and build up your own client portfolio step by step.
You are a sales representative who creates and capitalises on opportunities; you approach potential customers, generate enthusiasm amongst them and translate their enquiries into concrete solutions involving trees and planting. In doing so, you do more than just sell. You actively collaborate with customers to explore applications, projects and possibilities. You provide targeted advice to customers and ensure that what is agreed can actually be implemented in practice. Within our team, which operates with short lines of communication, you’ll be closely involved in the process. You’ll liaise constantly with colleagues both in the office and out in the field, maintain an overview, and monitor progress and margins.
How you fulfil this role depends largely on your initiative, experience and network. We offer you the freedom to develop your own approach and to engage with the market in a way that suits you.
We asked our colleague Thomas de Ruiter:
“Last year, I made the move to Overbeek Bomen. What struck me straight away was how quickly things get done. The lines of communication are short, you’re in close contact with people, and decisions are simply made. That’s great to work with: you can pick up the pace together and really get things done. At the same time, you’re given a lot of trust in how you do your job. You have freedom in your role, but you’re not on your own. Colleagues are committed and take responsibility, which means you make progress together.”
You feel at home in a commercial role that offers substance and responsibility. You are someone who spots opportunities and actively capitalises on them, whilst at the same time understanding that we do this together. At Overbeek Bomen, we really do work together. You will therefore work closely with colleagues and partners. That is why we are looking for someone who not only works independently, but also genuinely wants to be part of our team.
• Experience as an advisor/sales assistant is desirable
• You have experience in the tree nursery sector and possess a good knowledge of plants
• You work in a structured manner and maintain a clear overview, even when managing several projects at once
• You communicate easily with customers
• You are a true team player
• You are independent, take the initiative and spot opportunities
For us, qualifications are less important than a green mindset, interpersonal skills and perseverance
At Overbeek Bomen, you’ll be joining an organisation with a solid foundation and plenty of scope for growth. We have ambitious plans for the future, and you’ll play an active role in them. In this role, you’ll have the freedom to develop the market and create opportunities. You’ll be responsible not only for your own territory, but also for actively building new relationships and identifying opportunities in products, clients and projects. We offer:
• A passionate team
• A lovely new office
• A challenging and independent role with substance and responsibility
• Plenty of scope for your ideas regarding market development
• Working in a flat organisation with a stable, close-knit, committed and down-to-earth team
• Short lines of communication and personal interaction
• Good, competitive terms of employment, including primary and secondary benefits
We are a down-to-earth family business with a culture of commitment. Structure, reliability and quality form the basis of our work.
No unnecessary layers or complicated processes, just a team that takes joint responsibility and simply ensures that everything runs smoothly.
From our new office on the border between Oirschot and Best, we work daily for a wide range of professional clients both at home and abroad.
This growth requires us to strengthen our front-line team: someone who understands clients, thinks proactively, offers advice and helps bring projects to fruition.
