What began as a passion for trees has grown into a professional partner with a clear vision. At the age of fourteen, Maarten van Overbeek planted his first trees at his tree nursery in Oirschot.
That same tree nursery now covers 90 hectares of loamy sandy soil. 72 hectares of this are planted with trees; on the remaining hectares, we grow soil nourishing crops and other plants in the interim to optimise soil quality. By working the soil with cover crops and natural green manures such as Sudan grass (Sorghum), marigolds (Tagetes) and flower mixtures that enrich the soil, we encourage the build-up of organic matter and biodiversity. This approach ensures fertile soil, making our land perfectly suited to the cultivation of perennial trees. The loamy sandy soil promotes well-branched roots and, consequently, good root ball formation.
To be able to supply top-quality trees, it is not as simple as "going with the flow". It also requires forward thinking. Innovation therefore plays a central role in our business operations. Driven by our passion for trees, we are constantly looking for ways to grow them more intelligently, sustainably and effectively. In this way, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques.
Thanks to this innovative approach, we are not only able to grow high-quality trees, but also to manage our environment, our staff and our resources in a sustainable way. During the growing season, for example, we are able to control weeds at our nursery using purely mechanical methods; this is better for the soil, the growth of our trees and future generations.

Once you have made an appointment, you are very welcome to visit our nursery. We have site plans for each location, showing the numbering of the blocks. Using these site plans, you can view and/or select trees – either on your own or with your customers – by appointment. From now on, you can easily view the site plans for our plots via our website.
